Accident

Jac freezes a mall.

Jac bit her lip. "Uh... oops?"
Harmony ran up to the cashier's body and shook her. "She's cold, Jac. You're not supposed to do this."
"She'll be fine. Ice daggers just freeze the body for an hour, tops. Remember?" Jac said.
"Jac!" shouted Theo, dropping the book. "You... you could have killed her!"
Sola sighed. "Guys, people are staring."
She was right. The three other people in the store were looking at them.
Jac bit her lip. As always, ice began spreading around her feet.
Theo clapped a hand over his eyes. "Not now!"
"Sorry!" Jac whispered. "You know this happens when I'm upset!"
Harmony grabbed her shoulder. "You have to stop!"
The ice crept up the walls. "I c-can't!"
One of the people approached. "Can I have a picture? I love your costume!"
Jac backed up against the cash register. "Don't come any closer!"
But the girl did.
And Jac opened her hand. Ice spikes rose from the floor.
"What the-" said the girl. 'Who are you?"
"Shhh..." said Jac. And she ran from the store, leaving a trail of ice.
"Wha?" said the girl. "What's going on?"
Harmony grabbed the girl's head. "You won't remember this tomorrow." He turned towards the others. "We have to find Jac. Let's go." He led them out of the store.
Theo picked up the book and tucked it inside his jacket. Luna would have to see it.
