A Chapter by Celestia
"

Help me, O dreams. Parakeets, away. Nightmares. Frost. Come hither. Follow me to... extinction?

"
Song: Gloomy Sunday (The Hungarian Suicide Song)

"What?" he said. He was in immense pain.
She shuddered. "Nightmare. Elemental." she whispered.
"What do you mean?" he asked, wincing with every breath.
"Oh my god. I'm sorry," she said. "I didn't realize- I mean, I didn't know." she stuttered. She walked towards him, and rested a hand on his back. "The pain'll go away. Just breathe."
Jac coughed. "What happened!?" she said. "Is Uncle okay?"
The girl smiled. "He'll be fine. What's your name, honey?"
Jac blushed shyly. "Jaclyn. Cal me Jac." she said.
"And your... uncle?" she asked.
"I'm Theo," he said. The girl smiled and rubbed his back.
"Feeling better?"
"Yeah," said Theo, blushing. The girl was beautiful. He'd never talked to a girl his age before. Except for the villagers. But they hated him.
"Hey. I'm Luna." the girl said. "Welcome to the Land Behind the Cloud."
"S'cuse me, Miss Luna, but how old are you?" said Jac. "I'm ten."
"I can't answer that question precisely, but I think about... fifteen-ish. Fifteen million, that is." Luna said.
Theo raised a hand. "I'm fifteen. Are you kidding?"
"No," said Luna. "I never lie."
"But how can that be?" said Theo. "I mean, you look fifteen. Um... I think you're," he coughed. "beautiful?"
Luna blushed, spreading pink across her pale cheeks. "Uh, thank you? I think." She walked to Jac. "Honey, did you make those?" she pointed at the ice, which was shimmering lightly.
Jac nodded. "Wanna see me make more?"
Luna shook her head. "I'm good. But now I know. A double entry. Myth and Electra... How rare," she muttered.
"But what... how... where am I? Who am I?" said Theo.
"Honey, you're Immortal," said Luna. "And Jac is too. You have powers. Nightmares," she said, pointing at Theo, "and frost," she said, pointing at Jac. "Control them, bend them, and you have something to be proud of. Let them fall, and you'll be hell on earth. You can kill millions, or give them new life. It's all up to you." she said.
Theo looked at Jac, whose jaw dropped. "Can I die?" said Jac.
"No," said Luna. "You also can't get hurt. If you lose a limb, it'll hurt, but it'll heal within minutes."
"Does that mean I can jump off cliffs?" said Jac.
"Yes, but it'll hurt," said Luna. "Don't try it."
"Luna?" said Theo, "What's the Land Behind the Cloud?"
"The Land," said Luna, "is where you are. A complete equal to Earth, but set back 500 or so years. Magic is real here. Your fears and dreams lurk behind every corner. It's amazing."
Theo bit his lip. "Was this my fault?"
"No!" laughed Luna. "This wasn't your fault at all. It's One's. My... mother's."
"Who's One?" said Jac.
"One is... was my mother. The creator of this place. The original. Her name means new beginnings, and that's what she did. But she was killed by a Nightmare. Saving me."

Quite riveting for a reader to go on, finishing to get the explanation. Might be an interesting novel. Go on.
