The Comfortable Quiet Pantoum

The Comfortable Quiet Pantoum

A Poem by Korbyn Rague

It was the comfortable quiet

And we sat there with bliss

Nothing in her hands

Except one of mine

The coffee in my hand

Would not be quite as good

But we sat there with bliss

And it was the comfortable quiet.

Something was there

But nothing came around

nothing in her hands

And nothing came around

Nothing came around

But something was there

Something was there…

It was the comfortable quiet.
