These Thoughts

These Thoughts

A Poem by Korbyn Rague

What she thinks he thinks

Oh my god, she won’t shut up.

I sit and listen, but it’s too much

Information

She’s too much of a chore and I wish

I could close the door on her

She’s with me too much.

She won’t leave me alone and

It’s draining as she strains her voice

To tell me what’s happening.

What he actually thinks

Oh my god, why won’t she talk to me?

She never talks to me and I want to know

what’s going on!

It’s like she’s shut me out and swings the door closed

She’s never with me

And I don’t know what’s going on

She never talks to me and I wonder if it’s because

She doesn’t have the voice to do it.
