Hi, My Name is Sean

Hi, My Name is Sean

A Poem by Korbyn Rague

Perhaps my thoughts are too confusing,

But it comes out just fine with the hands that I’m using.

Maybe when they all died, it was a sign

It’s not every day there’s no line to wine and dine

Maybe I’m overthinking

Or maybe I’m just not drinking...

Enough.

Nurse, could I get my good pills?

I want to write my will.

My money goes to my chair

My TV will get my hair.

Am I out yet? Am I gone?

Hi, My name is Sean.

I’m not crazy, that’s just what you think.

Well HA HA HA, I need another drink.

Make fun of my insanity, isn’t that just a charm?

Lock the doors! Block the windows! Sound the alarm!

Oh, I’m sorry, just my mind isn’t on.

Oh... have I met you?

Hi, my name is Sean.
