As the moon watched over us

As the moon watched over us

A Poem by Korbyn Rague

As the moon watched over us,
We laughed,
We danced,
We cheered.
As the moon watched over us,
We loved,
We kissed,
We cried.
As the moon watched over us,
We slept,
We aged,
We thought.
As the moon watched over us,
She died,
I wept,
I closed my eyes.
As the moon watched over me,
I grieved,
I sat,
I stared.
But all nights come to an end, don't they?

Korbyn Rague
I am beginning to love writing poetry, however my style is not quite definite. I've got a few patterns I enjoy, but still pretty new to this. Feel free to leave a review or constructive criticism!
