Blasphemy

Blasphemy

A Poem by celecis

 Since birth, condicioned to death

Expectations on high, a lifelong of slavery

Thoughts shaped since the early age

Our ideas managed to be silenced,

                Too honest to be heard,

The truth is an offense, seen as defiance.

                Living under a dreadful ilusion,

                That you decide for yourself

When the social system has been carved onto you

Trapped in this endless lifeless cycle

Where our darkest thoughts are seen as taboo

Where our interest for the ghoulish is blasphemous.

When the moon shines brighter to us than the sun

When the disturbing is so soothing

                And eternal winter reassuring.
