Way Back When

A short dialogue about time gone past.

I found you forgotten

Wandering the halls

Of way back when.

I was surprised.

"Hiya,"

I said,

"Let's be friends."

You obliged.

We spoke shortly

You seemed happier then.

Thinking back to way back when.

"Well it's been nice,

I'll Write,"

I said,

"But I have to be getting back

To way back when."

So I wrote.

Never heard back again.

You're in Paradise now.

I'm at home 

With family and friends.

All alone 

In wat back when.
