I wonder if i had your life,

Would it be better,

or are there secrets you hide like the

skin that covers the pit of the cherry< 

Like mine,

You never know what someones hiding,

You never know if someones happy, 

Behind every smile there's a past

A secret.

Careful with someones - it should be a contraction of someone is, so someone's
"i" - I
is the < a typo or intentional?

I have wondered this before, but this poem takes the pondering further.
