KatrinaA Poem by cecilpoem about the devastating hurricane Katrina
We watched in lost anticipation As it traveled its decided path Not totally sure which way The spin and attitude Would spell it too It traveled to its destination Whirling and devastating Everything within its way Not sparing any detail Or solid matter at all Nothing could stop The massive waves That also followed That came before The winds of disaster Spreading death and despair The survivors will rebuild Within time of days and months Along with remembering Deadly hurricane named Katrina. © 2008 cecilAuthor's Note
