your happiness is my desire

when i see you with another
my heart feels heavy
when i want to be the other
its my hearts desire

i know you want to feel complete
my only wish i could compete
i know i can make you happy
i would shower you in gifts

i want you to be happy
only then i'm happy you're with another
i wish i only know he makes you happy
but i scream i want to be the other

when i see you with another
my chest screams in pain
but i want you happy
only if i was sure you were happy

only if you are happy
i would give you all my attention
everything your hearts desire
cause you are everything my heart desires

confusion........love..........heartache.......yet determination is this poem all about.....shows the other side of love....."purity"........loved the last line where you say you are all that my heart desires......justifies the whole idea of writing this poem!!
