now she mad crazy fo' another

now she nahh lokin fo' mr rite
in her haste she wuz swept wit one fone call

now ma plans o' early college dies
as muh ma f****n heart dies
from jamaica ah came ta ride
da katrina waves in new orleans
n transposed ta texas
now ta gots broken heart in california

all i can is watch my heart fall away
i kept my admire secret too long
now she is not looking for Mr right
in her haste she was swept away with one phone call

now my plans for early college has died
as my heart dies
from Jamaica i came to ride
the Katrina waves in New Orleans
and transposed to Texas
now i have a broken heart in california
