Bubble BombsA Poem by ChristineA magical eventBubble Bombs
When I woke up this morning I found That the windows in my room had gone all round and crinkly I got the iron out and gave them a quick press It seemed to smooth and soothe them and they began to hum
Though this quickly turned to fizzing Little pops popped and bubbles burst out of the glass They flew round the room and then gathered in a cluster And swooped down upon me like a swarm of bees
They settled in my hair They didn't sting though, just kept up a quiet bubbly chatter My hair went curly and some of the bubbles stayed with me Now and again I pick one out and aim it at a stranger © 2014 ChristineReviews
