Dancing can't always Last

“My prince I am.....” “Stlest, The daughter of Jain and May. Welcome.” He said with a big smile. I had a look of pure surprise. As he got up he said, “ Would you like to dance?” “I would to my Prince.” “ Please call me Derek.” He lead me to the dance floor, as the band begun to play. We came to dance. “You look stunning.” “Thank you, so does yourself.” When the song ended he had to dance with another girl. I sat with my grandmother the rest of the night. Until one of the heads of the house came to me. He had black and gold hair, muscular and very sweet. “Would you like to dance with me?” “I would love to dance with you.” Leading me to the dance floor right next to the prince. The prince turned and said “Careful brother that one is a handful.” With a huge grin on his face.

I looked at him like are you kidding me. “Your his brother?” “Yes I am the youngest one out of us two.” “I did not think he had a brother.” “Well I do.” he said in my ear. We started to dance. He made jokes I laughed so hard. Derek started to get jealous so right in the middle of the song they switched partners. So we dance. “ Surprise I have a little brother.” “You should have told me” “I'm sorry.” “It's fine he is very funny though.” The song ended “We must announce my bride to be.” “OK I had a great time.” As the butler raised a glass and hit it lightly with a spoon. He said “It is time to announce who the prince shall marry. My Prince.”

He stood and turned to the crowed and said “I had a great time with all the women this evening. The one I am choosing will be loyal and trust worthy to this clan. I have a great feeling about her. She is........” He stopped, like he forgot who he was going to say. He reached over to his brother and said something. Then he continued to talk “ This is a girl I always been in love with and she shall remain by my side forever. She is Stlest. Daughter of Jain and May.”

Everybody clapped and some stood up. Girls started crying. My grandmother jumped up and we yelling yes yes. I laughed at her. The prince came to me and got down on one knee and said, “Stlest will you marry?” He opened a huge dimound ring and I was shocked. “I..I...” No words came out. Then finally “O my god Yes Yes I would love to.” Everybody cheered and he picked me up and started to swing me around.

He carried me away as his butler told everybody good bye. Off to his room he said. Before we went in he put me down and gave me a long kiss. Opened the door and started to kiss me and he started to untie my dress. That is where I stopped him and I said “We ain’t married yet and you just asked me to marry you tonight.” “O ok.” “Sorry I rather wait.” “That's fine, so you going home are you wanting to stay with me?” “I would like to stay with you if that is OK?” “That would be great let me send for a few of you things.” “OK so where do I sleep?” “How bout in here with me. Is that fine?” “Sounds great.”

As a rider went and got my things and brought them back so I can change. I changed and went to his room. The room was lit with candles and had rose petals everywhere. It was so romantic of him. He was already laying in bed waiting for me.

He had a look in his eye, a very hungry look. The kind we all get when we need to feed. “Come lay with me Stlest.” I walked over to him and crawled under the sheets with him. It was warm. He gave me a kiss on my check and said “Goodnight my love.” I feel asleep with a smile on my face that night. I have never been so happy in my life. I woke the next morning with a note on his pillow that said,

'I hope when you wake you would get dressed, and come for a ride with me. I will show you, your horse. O and Stlest good morning I love you so much. See you when you wake, Beautiful.'

It was so beautiful and amazing. He also lay ed a daisy next to it my favorite flower. Still he remembered that I told him when we were kids. Now we are soon to be married. Wow I never noticed how sweet he is. How he really did love me after all those long years. Love can last forever.
