You must be kind to everyone because you don't know what they are dealing with. They may face challenges at home. They may fail a test, but they might have had an event that prevented studying. Many things happen because an event was out f their control. No one knows what prevented them from studying, but they might not want to talk about in. A kid who is rude because they don't talk to you may have suffered a loss or be in trouble at home.
