As it is

As it is

A Poem by Christopher.Holmberg
"

2 poems I wrote, combined to make 1. ;)

"

Letting you see would be my foremost mistake.

Closing the door would be my greatest decision.

-

The tree cloaks not from seductive winds,

as you shadow my focus and administer my pain.

Observing not what you are, but what you may be;

An allusion I wish to be true.

You hide within my top desires,

powerful enough to distinguish my naked fire.

You seed plain shame and cater to my self-resistance.

I live behind you and never in your gaze.

Though I am confronted by doubt and trouble-

Your hand seems too far; an expedition unwanted.

A certain knowing of a foreseen tie;

A teller of the future within his darkest days.

I denounce titles and claim that which I am not.

Everything much alike; a constant fabrication.

Shall I open my openings where light awaits?

Where blinding stars forgive your lack of you.

Afraid of the grueling complexities that may arise.

As well the joy I see, may be very sincere.

 -

When have I been wrong?

Of course I must not know...

Time dilates my fear of knowing-

as it does my will too.

Pulling; I try against constant laws-

without anticipation...

This force, can I identify it with you?

Who's to say it is true?

-

Why must we dig with bitter taste?

For ourselves and others; shallow graves.

I've seen horror on streets when there is no show

the tells market themselves , a distinction so low.

Hard waves concuss men alike

To be stuck in a daze for nights.

Only to fall farther forever

until forces clear the sabotage.

Continuation possible, as it is what it is.

Though a halt must be presented.

-"As it is"

Where are my fears?...Do they circle me as I sleep?...Do they consume me as I eat?...Have they heard of my accomplishments?  ;)

Wow! I may have written something along these lines yet my words were simply and yours are more profound. You say there are two in one but in this piece I see many directions I can go every time I read it.
Great job well done.

This is for you stephen...Find the meaning in this...This is my answer to your review...

"Letting you see would be my foremost mistake."

"But I denounce titles and claim that which I am not.
Everything much alike; a constant fabrication."

"When have I been wrong?
Of course I must not know..."

"I live behind you and never in your gaze."

You can find the meaning in anything , there's never one soul purpose; the possibilities are infinite as always.

I can't help you see..I can only guide you in the right direction.

The only good thing I can really say about this is that the words are lovely. That aside, they're often misused and make little sense. I don't want to give the poem a rating because I don't know what you were really going for. But as far as conveying a message, I couldn't find one in that jumble of words. Not trying to be mean. I do like how the words sound, I just couldn't find any meaning in them
