"
The night wind calls my name.

I listen to her whispers,

let her draw me out of my hiding,

fall prey to her beckon.

Dangerous moon,

nearly full,

my thirst is on the rise,

nearly savage.

Control is my enemy,

and recklessness, my lover.

I should not be out.

No one is safe,

yet I am behind the wheel,

revving the engine,

speeding into the darkness,

to a place where I can

drown my existence,

if only fleetingly,

in the drink and seduction

of a crowded dance club.
