Have you seen ONLY the rose?

Have you seen only the rose?
Have you not felt its fineness 
as you touched its coarse stalk?
Have you no regard to the leaves humbly resting 
underneath to not adumbrate its grace?
Or have you flung it as you pricked 
your fingers with its exultant thorns?
If eyes made you see the rose,
I guess, you have never really seen it at all!
