In a place of healing.

It was YOU who woke up these feelings I thought I could never feel. YOU were the one who would smile at me and my heart would melt in a million pieces. YOU were the one I felt myself with, the one I could be comfortable to be with, to see me in all different versions of myself. YOU were the one I could take walks with, going anywhere YOU would take me to, a simple walk around the neighbourhood, admiring big houses, going to the nearest supermarket and walking aimlessly. Walking to buy food and having our simple dinner and being happy to just walk beside YOU and breathe the same air together. It was YOU  I would enjoy sitting beside doing nothing, staying up late watching the same movie again together or watching youtube and laughing with. YOU whom I would cook for, wash dishes for and peel those lychees for and keep warm together under that warm blanket YOU had. It was YOU I would stand naked with and scrub your back and bathe together and just let the water slide down together. It was always just YOU,YOU  I would reach for and enjoy the hugs YOU gave me when I stood in the bathroom. It was YOU I wanted to eat waffles with and go to all the cafes we wanted to go. It was YOU I wanted to dance with, YOU who I wanted to hold hands with in cab rides and kiss goodnight. YOU made me excited for every plan we made, no matter how different we were. It was always YOU. YOU had my heart in the palm of your hands and YOU cracked it into a million pieces the day YOU said it's not me YOU needed after a year. 

YOU were everything to me but it was me who was nothing to YOU.

And it was YOU who broke me and numbed me to ever feeling love again.
