I Shouldn't

I Shouldn't

A Poem by CCR86

I shouldn't have smiled at you from day one
I shouldn't have answered you from the start
The little glances we steal from each other
Across the dark room with the bright twinkling lights
I shouldn't have let my gaze linger upon you
I shouldn't have entertain you with you little texts
The way you made me feel, the way you persuaded me
I shouldn't have let myself fall into your web
The flirting, the sweet talking and your sweet a*s mouth
I shouldn't have invested time on you
You're so good, your cheap lies and your cheap talk
I shouldn't have believe you, I shouldn't have let you in
I shouldn't have started those secret hideouts
Wanting to hold you close to me, wanting to hold your hands
To sweep your hair across your face and nibble your ears
Why am I such a fool, I shouldn't have told you the things I did
I shouldn't have met you, I shouldn't have share a piece of me with you
I knew from the start, I shouldn't have played along
I wasn't meant for danger, I wasn't meant for this type of love
I shouldn't have kissed you, I shouldn't have enjoyed the taste of your lips
I shouldn't have let myself feel for someone whom my whole life wasn't what I wanted
And now that I choose a different path, you choose to ignore me ?
You loved her...I knew deep down already and I knew you never meant a word you said to me
You never bothered to ask me to stay
I shouldn't have let you see me
Now the question lies in my head for days
Was it all attention you seek for ?
What was I to you?
Am I just another women? Another fling?
I shouldn't have let you break me and I shouldn't have let you made me feel unworthy.
I shouldn't.....I shouldn't but I did.
And now I should just live with this fact that I was stupid enough to fall for an a*****e like you
Goodbye and F**k You ACE ISKANDAR.
