My Purpose

My Purpose

A Story by CCR86

If I were meant to be alone in life,
I would travel as far as my legs would take me
See the world as long as I have my vision
Far beyond the horizons, the greenest pastures, the bluest ocean,
The brightest stars, the fluffiest clouds and the most colourful fireworks.
I  would experience the most in life, do what makes me happy
Find myself within the people I am with and the new ones I meet
I would stop worrying about what happens in the future
And live within the moment, cherish the time we have now
Even when I am just me, myself and I...I would learnt to accept
I would start with me, for once in my life, I would concentrate on just me
Stop pitying myself for all the wrong reasons, I would fix myself
The broken pieces that were shattered, one by one I will find a way
A way out of the shadows, out of this cornered wall I placed myself in
I would do it myself. Get out into that society and stand tall.
Even if I had to do it myself, even if I had to stand there as one.
I would stop depending on others to lift my soul up
I want to stop dreaming and and start living, let my pages write itself
I should stop caring what others think of me or their opinions on my believes
Society will never change, it will be the same and its up to me to decide
To listen and fall down and stoop to their level , or to rise up and see a bigger picture
Take all this critics and rise up and be a bigger person to walk away and stop caring.
I would find my purpose in life, I believe we were all put here on earth for a reason
Some were meant for soulmates, and some were not and that is okay.
So if I were meant to be alone, I'd find my purpose and find my happy ever after with that.
