TODAY

TODAY

A Poem by CCR86

Today I erase a part of me
I took away the memories we created
The days we spend laughing our hearts out
And the times we cried and held on to each for comfort

Today I erase a part of me
One by one, I took away the photos and all the things
What we once shared, the long nights we spend just talking
The friends we once shared, the times where it was you and us against the world

Today I erase a part of me
How we spend our younger days , free spirited
The things we talked about, the things only me and you knew
All the secrets we shared, the common interests we had

Today I erase a part of me
The songs we would sing from our hearts
Not a care of how out of tune we would sound like
All the smiles, the laughs and now the empty spaces

Today I erase you, Today you are no longer part of me.

This is how we END.
