My Lady

My Lady

A Poem by CCR86

Tis thy heart that bleeds
Thy beauty within I seek
My lady, she chooses to be ugly
Tis no such thing, my lady is silly

My lady, we shall be wed
We'll make love on thy marriage bed
She'll taste of honey, sweet and pure
My love I'll give, she'll endure

She is my lady, she is my precious bride
With all my love, my heart shall provide
We'll be both brave and bold
Her love is worth more than gold

My love, tis my greatest desire
She'll set my lips on fire
By love sharp darts, my lady is hurting
By fate, By lord, My lady is waiting
