a kiss on the forehead

a kiss on the forehead

A Poem by Cassidy Henry
"

Basically about the meaning behind a tiny butterfly kiss on the forehead. How something so "unromantic" can hold so much meaning, especially when looking back.

"
a kiss on the forehead

a kiss on the forehead, you give to me
almost to say,
i am yours,
you are mine.

a kiss on the forehead, you give to me
for strength; endearment; hope;
a gift of courage.

a kiss on the forehead, you give to me
imparting the comfort that,
i am not alone.

a kiss on the forehead, you gave to me
all that time ago,
tiny flutters of remembrance,
only now to let them go.
