Going down...

Going down...

A Poem by Dimpe
"

...so here's my black box.

"

it amazes me how
your medicinal smile
can lift my heart
or make it stop
the charm and humor
has won me over
even with the strings extracting

though it's just icing
on the cake
let's go down for just
a little while
and share this moment
for a moment

the pulse in your chest
beats this rhythm
impossible to duplicate
speeding
racing
quicker still
but the only running
that you are doing
is down my chin

as eyes lock
and lips meet
I hear the noise
I've longed to hear
gasp
with levitating hips
moan
with trembling limbs

after number five
and three of three
the prediction made
on that warm night
in that same bed
is all but fully
fulfilled

a great lyric text - this expressed a deep emotion and I am aware of it. I liked this: "as eyes lock / and lips meet" -what a way to say. := ) well done, even you are no writer: you are a poet.
