Who we are

Who we are

A Poem by Izzy Briles
"

Wrote this back in my angst filled youth phase (it's a song).

"
Fall down right? I fall tonight.
Who am I? I'm the voice inside your head.
Speak to me, tell me your needs.
I'll do what I please, I'm your disease.

Who we are, is who we are.
I die today, there's got to be a way.

To fall down, and cry.
To pick up what has died,
or I don't really care.
What's out there?

Suicide, I die tonight.
Who am I? Well, I'm nothing much at all.
Speak to me, tell me your needs.
I'll do what I please, I'm your disease.

Who we are, is who we are.
I die today, there's got to be a way.

To fall down, and cry.
To pick up what has died,
or I don't really care.
What's out there?
