Soul piercing smile, I know you too well.  Picked the tree of life so happily, I learned from the plucked apple that fell.  You wear your heart so well, tucked under your sleeve and jacket.  Disguised with lies and cunning tries, of heartless tease and racket.  The code to your depeche mode I cracked it, figured you out.  Without the benefit, of considerate doubt.  Why can’t you wear it, admit it? This shoe you know you fit it.  Everybody loves you but you tainted the root of the word, painted it black, and made it a useless verb.  You’ll get what you can, monopoly, just not this time and definitely NOT from me.  Just when you thought you’d gotten me, another pawn piece, your cold heart had forgotten me, out of the minds reach.  Placed me on the shelf with the rest of the back stabbed, soul bleeding hearts you've grabbed.  Teaching these men that fear never to be loved again.  I sit across the bar unbeknownst to you, watching from afar as someone gives a toast to you.  You smile and accept, everyone doing just what they’re supposed to do.  Eyes full of denial and regret at the people that are so close to you.  Yet I see RIGHT through you, to the depths and out the other side, most get lost on that ride, to the death, but me I make it out alive.  Still I’ll warn nor tell NO ONE, wont mention any names, not my place to get involved in your pretentious little games.  I sure wouldn’t want you in my way, though you know that’s not what my eyes say, as they meet with yours at last.  And with a nod and one strong raise of my glass, I toast to present, future and past.  With no problem, and to everything that you and I share, and all we have in common.  And as we leave the bar, I’m waiting by your car, for my only PRINCESS, the collector of scars, you wont ever miss me, no matter where I try to take you, just come over here and kiss me, cause I just love to f*****g hate you.
