Wondering if one knows when one aches, Wondering if one cares

Look Deep

 

In my soul, there is a tune

A tune that plays loudly if you listen

In my soul, It echoes, forever swoons

Around my heart it glistens

 

Waiting for each chance to play a part

To be heard it flows out to sea

For if it stays embedded in my heart

You will never know the real me

 

In my mind, there are emotions

Awaiting their release

Like the roar of the wave of the mighty ocean

With the crash of the waves, it will never cease

 

In my tears,  falling silently at night

Staining the pillow that cradles my head

In my tears,  roll what you haven't caught sight

Wet words that have not been said

 

Look deep, it yearns for your observation

Awaiting, probing my soul

Look Deep, find my trials and jubilations

Until then, they'll forever toll
