"You're Not a Reflection of Me!"

"You're Not a Reflection of Me!"

A Poem by Cbklyn4u
"

Looking around in amazement..

"

Not a Reflection of Me!

This is our dwelling
Our Home,  our space
Bur lies in this community
Is what makes it a disgrace

           Menacing

Can’t find the time
To walk out and seek
Where to trash your containers
After stuffing your cheek

           Ugliness

Spewing your tobacco
Desperate for that blunt
We know where trash goes
Not like you gotta hunt

          Disrespect

Relieving your urges, pissing everywhere
Convenient for you
Why the Hell don’t you care?
Your puddles I have to deal with too?

        Pungent

Can’t stand proud alone
Everyone, open your eyes!
Just whispers to roam
Why not take off your disguise

       Unity

You’re a reflection of your environment
But not a reflection of me
You have made a dent
In our Community’s indecency

      Reality

Sometimes it's hard to retain your proudness when others just don't care. It's hard for many to separate the individual from the environment. Careful how we judge.
