"Remembering"

"Remembering"

A Poem by Cbklyn4u
"

A reflection of how I felt listening to the memorial service for the victims of 9-11. I had a student named Mairia Ramirez, who we lost on that day... and this is in memory to her and the thousands of others .

"

As once again, we gather together and listen to the bell tolls,
Remembering the lives of so many loved ones.
Listening to the roll call of all their missed souls,
For their lives were taken, their journey undone.

We remember and reflect, our pain never to cease,
For far too many had someone, in which that tragedy touched
Memories of pain that will never be released
Remembering always all those who were loved so much

               God Bless America,
                     Remembrance of 9-11
