Mi Vianda

Mi Vianda

A Poem by Cbklyn4u
"

After eating a favorite dish of mines...

"

Mi Vianda

I crave your taste

The saltiness bite

Without any haste

A Hispanic's delight

Rich, creamy roots, our ancestors planted

Avacado and onions to complete

So filled am I, so well fed

My hunger satisfied with defeat

Bacalao, Savoring it all

On the tip of my tounge

Allowing the swallow

When the tasting is done
