"Celtic Flow"A Poem by Cbklyn4uA yearning to know more about one's ethnic origin"Celtic Flow" Heed the calling of now who I am Where my ancestors did reside Across the sea, a beautiful gem To where my roots are tied
The roar of the celtic blood flows throughout and within my veins Stirring all that I yearn to know Wishing to hear that voice again
My beloved grandma, proud was she A woman mighty and strong Who knew the importance of planting the seed So that her knowledge would live on
Foretold like no other, she would convey Her pride in heritage and self A specialty of love she would relay Her words, her wisdom, such wealth
So much remains to know although About my Irish ties But what is planted in me and sewn Was through my Grannie's eyes © 2009 Cbklyn4u |
