"The Thriller Is Gone"

Thoughts upon me on the Passing of Michael Jackson... Gone too soon.

 

The Thriller is Gone

 

 

 The man who we all knew as Michael

Has up and gone away

To the world, a music disciple

His lyrics, so much to say

 

As a child, we watched him grow

His moves left us in wonder

His voice we grew to love it so

His beats upscaled to blunder

 

Though controversy had plaged his life

 His music couldn't be ignored

For despite all the negative strife

He was loved from every shore

 

 

Singing out loud, harmonous tunes

We grew to know and love

Little did we know that one day in June

He'd be taken up above

 

The Thriller shall live on

In our thoughts and in our minds

For no other has gone so beyond

Michael J. indeed, was one of a kind
