~Sounds~

~Sounds~

A Poem by Cbklyn4u
"

Inspired by my hearing impaired parents, and knowing what they have been missing all their lives.

"

Sounds are creeping, growing louder with the dew.
That Pellets the leaves, with this day anew.
Birds are bellowing out, inticing a new day,
Bringing forth new songs, and passing them away.
As my ears take in their calls, listening to their sweet sounds,
What sadness there may be,
For those enclosed without sound.
Nor can they ever hear the harmonies around.
No waves a crashing, no babies cries,
Just a tone of silence,
Not a change or a rise.
No greetings in the morning,
With the sweet morning dew.
Just another day dawning,
All the same, nothing new.
