Boricua Man

Boricua Man

A Poem by Cbklyn4u

Boricua Man, dont play with me

For I gave you my heart, and you left it empty

All the Boricua Love you so gallantly shout

Is not the reallity, not what you're about

Took you into my soul,  body and mind

You thought that was what you wanted,  you made your find

Confusion sets within your inner you

All your emotions all over you let them spew

In directions that are not necessary to obtain and nourish

For it was right here,  to take in and flourish

Don't play with my mind,  I dont need your s**t

Nor  do I miss it, not even a lil bit

Keep pretending to be the man you will never be

For whomever, she will finally see

That what consumes you is the need to be the macho one

Life is not about that, listen carefully son

You will burn with the feelings of hurt and despair

Because when done to others,  you had not a care

It's okay for now, keep with your flow

But real love, intense, you will never know

Words that have meaning, you dont know how to convey

For they are just words, just things that you say

Continue your facade, its okay for you now

But the seeds that you plant, you will have to sow
