Through the Twinkle of an EyeA Poem by Cbklyn4uFollowing the news of the loss of Robin Williams..Few celebrities in passing have I felt, like in my heart I truly knew. Your departure, hard hand you dealt, To millions, not just a few.
Behind those eyes that twinkled so blue, the smile that followed each joke. Turbulence stirred, your own winds blew, strong in appearance, inner self .. broke.
Surrendered your vision the only way you knew, other eyes.. could of steered you in the right direction. Painful as it was, never ending fight starts anew.. Those who walk in your path understand it's complexion.
With the laughter and tears that you provided to the world, underneath it all, who knew your inner being? Many of us are afflicted with this swirl, innate, emotions not visual for the seeing.
Wish you could of held up, fought like a warrior, many could of learned they're not in isolation. Spoke of your pain, share this common story, many could of found some consolation.
To seek a brighter vision, through the twinkle of each eye. Need not, the exit door to be their decision, because with each that departs, follows cries...
From all those who loved you, love us...
God Speed and thank you... From the millions who mourn Nanu.. Nanu,,, May your twinkle .. be reborn © 2014 Cbklyn4u |
