Proud To Have Known You Friend..

In internet friend that I have known for a long time.. words from me with a heavy heart

Sometimes one encounters a rare friend,

though in flesh you did not see.

An online friend till the end,

One in which you can always depend.

 

To put a smile on your face,

Encouragement and smile.

Without any haste,

knowing you was worth while.

 

One who showed such love and encouragement,

though the miles between us were few.

In my heart you were heaven sent,

Proud to say.. "Who Jimmy?, yea I knew"

 

A warrior who shared not only his life,

but the hardship life deals us,

in his glory and his strife.

He led us to know him, no need to hush

 

Cancer may of came into his life,

but hid nor did he hide.

The battle was deep,

No need to confide.

 

For others who may share the same illness,

of this dreadful disease.

He inspired to fight on,

not to entertain nor please.

 

God saw this and said,

"No need to feel this pain."

Put his hand on your head,

and brought you home again.

 

I am proud of who you were,

and the impression you left  on this Earth.

Your presence caused a stirr,

Priceless was your self worth..
