Between the Lines

Between the Lines

A Poem by Chris Bighorse

When I write a poem
every word I use has
been used before.

Next week a friend will ask,
"What makes a poem yours?"

I will answer by giving
them this piece of paper.

I love the way you make so little into so much. Those few lines speak volumes.

About
I am Navajo. My tribe does not call itself that, but the schools I've been to have called us such and the name has stayed. So, to you, I am Navajo. To me, I am Chris. Hopefully, in getting to know.. more..
