tear-stained paper

tear-stained paper

A Poem by carlosav

 i hate to cry,

never a tear,

no more than a sigh

so long as no one can hear.

i would imagine strong our belonged friendship would reach

i was sure it'd prove what other thought not.

People so different, so dissimilar, so diverse, distanted to teach

what one another would know, to learn, of things not forgot.

Last time i cried, it was out of fear

for thinking my friend might disappear.

now i know i'll never see you care

i dont know how much my heart'll bear.

once a stranger, then much more

now your gone, my face hits the floor.

It was my doing, it was my fault,

but for reasons i know, you'll understand not.

you were the only one i'd ever reach my hand to

i've never said what i said,

when i said

I Love You

to you.
