Through the Window

Through the Window

A Poem by catwriter
"

Thoughts on our interconnectedness and how we must save our home.

"
Through the window I can see
So much that Spirit's given me.
The bird filled trees, the shapes of green,
All cloaked by light and touched by wind.

But eyes can only see so deep,
While heart knows bark and leaf as kin,
And giants made of mountains sleep
Quadrillion lives upon their skin.

And cities made of rot and rust
Now tempt us to forget our past.
From whence we came, and what is right,
While this blue ball hurls through the night.

Beautiful stanzas here. My connection on this planet is through the eyes of someone connected to the natural environment. That keeps me sane when organised religion and warfare do their best to cause destruction. I am spiritual person by nature. I felt some connection to your thoughts here.
