PrologueA Chapter by Niko TimmyDanger doesn't always make itself as clear as day. Sometimes it creeps up slowly, coming up from behind you, surprising you with a fearful embrace that leaves you satisfied yet scarred. Sometimes it wraps itself around you, taking over all your emotions until there is nothing left to feel. Desire had the same effect. Or rather, love had the same effect. These simple feelings overpowered Xavier the night he killed his best friends, Roy and Trevor. And not only that day, but also the day he decided to move back to Rochester, Michigan. Fear had made Xavier lose control the night he killed them. He didn't feel safe, he felt under pressure and scared. He searched for another solution, a less messy solution, but found none. He was trapped with the only answer to his question. He was surrounded by fear and possible danger. He knew there was only one way out. And that was how it all started. The endless cycle of going back and forth between loving and hating, desire and danger, thinking and rethinking every last move he made until he felt safe again. That was how Xavier planned to live from the night he committed homicide to the day he died. Sometimes he regretted nothing. Other times, he wanted to take it all back. He was Xavier Floyd. Previously well-known as literally the perfect angel. The angel who had his life planned out in front of him, tied down by parents who expected greatness from their only child. He was a star, he was the center of attention. He was destined for greatness. That's how it used to be. Now he's known as the fallen angel who killed his best friends. Cast out from the Legend's Court, sent down to the earth in a fiery heap without his glorious wings. Without hope of being the Great Xavier. All was lost that night. Every anticipation, every wish, every dream that Xavier Floyd would be like his parents. High and mighty, strong and powerful. It all dissolved, slipping from his fingers along with his future. Xavier wondered if he'd ever be that way again. Looked up to, admired, loved and appreciated. Sometimes he wished he never would be. © 2012 Niko TimmyAuthor's Note
