Announcement of many pains

Arranged marriage
Her father announces
Soon, soon she will no longer be welcome to his heart
but to another, another that doesn't belong

No more glances, no more forbidden feelings
The green necklace he gave her
will soon be hidden away
forced to feel a lie for someone she does not love.

Soon, the chapel, the ring
The white dress and the black tie
The hatred for him, the love for another
Forced into a world unwelcome

The leather journal and her red flag
The wind does not blow today
The ink is running low
The pages remain blank, for they have nothing but pain

Winning this war,
unthinkable, yes
Obeying to her commands,
willingly leaving her one and only

She goes to the market,
to see his eyes one last time
they look sad, as if
mirroring her own

He knows her, he
knows what she feels
He knows what she's like, he
knows something horrid is to come

He does not know about
the arranged marriage
he does not know the tear
in their love, their share

He knows of nothing
Only that she is no longer happy

He must think she no longer loves him
He does not know,
and she is forbidden to talk to him
Forbidden to explain

She can't feel his embrace
she can't hear his comfort
he can only stand there, watching her
She can only watch the fabric

The red flag does not blow
not anymore
the sun does not reflect off of it
no more radiance.

no like i said on the previous chapter that this is a good book and it's not bad . it's brilliant also i like how it mirrors the first chapter and like how things paralell . well done . pat on your back
