It's the same one year after another just different peopleA Poem by Kyra EvaliceJust how I'm feeling after stepping out of my zone for the new year, and quite frankly I didn't like it.
So lets get all dolled up for another night on the town.
Pretty faces, painted faces. With fake nails and fake tans we dance till it's all a blur. We call this living, our random hookups and unmentionable diseases. Well I'm sitting at home, no I don't see the appeal. I'll try not to judge you if you try not to judge me. See we aren't all 'perfect' we aren't all social butterflies. I'll live in my fantasies, fighting dragons duelling princes. It's what I find entertaining and when I'm lost in that world. It brings a smile to my face. The morning after isn't so fun and games is it? you wake in fear, or find you head hanging over that porcelain bowl. So I'll try not to judge you, if you try not to judge me. © 2012 Kyra Evalice |
