Fear

Fear

A Poem by Kyra Evalice
"

A panic attack in a poem.

"
Chapped lips,
short breaths.
Heart racing,
pulse pounding so fast it’s all you hear.
This is fear.
Hardly breath,
with all eyes on you.
Though no ones around,
if you screamed no one would hear.
Tears forming,
how can this be?
Panic sets in,
jaw held tight.
Should you fight of flee?
Stomach hurts,
thoughts a blur.
Don’t come near,
this is fear.

Highly descriptive, and almost frighteningly real! I must go now before I have a panic attack!
