Flee

Flee

A Poem by Dwelling Moments Of A Teenager

Tears, rolling down my face once more.
The memories of being in your arms,
the only strength I can hold on.
Wishing for a better life,
but not knowing what that really means.
Clinging to all I have left,
being confused to what that is.
Wanting the pain to go away,
the drops of blood, my only saver.

Waiting for that man to come,
never arriving on my door step.

Birds going from nest to nest,
never understanding the pain of leaving.
Hoping for the one last phone call from you,
realising, that it wont ever happen.
