Storm

Storm

A Poem by Dwelling Moments Of A Teenager

The light burns through my eyes leaving behind nothingness,
the love I used to hold dear, has vanished to no morrow,
Rain that is falling, and making a storm that beats down through my mind.
smothering my candle, and with it, the light for our future,
walking down the hallway into the past,
wishing for happiness to warm your stone cold heart.
Looking into a mirror, hoping of a looking glass,
but the only to find your face, watching, staring, at mine.
Memories striking like lighting, reminding me of us.
The wind is pared with rain, watching the havoc that was these clouds.
flickering the light to bring my demons in,
letting the dreams out with the soul I used to own.
Watching the pieces of failing out of the puzzle,
confusing my mind of right and wrong.
Angels and Demons seem to be playing with this battle,
the war of the younger galaxies combing with the hurricanes of tomorrow.
Ancient forces are fighting with time.
Essences of god with the heavens, is bringing the demons back from hell.
Our lands, their playground to toy with.
Looking up above the skies, seeing the twisters taughting the cites.
Running, rushing to see you.
The gods my control the weather,
but never my love for you.
