Omni Pro VictoriaA Poem by catofjade(All For Victory)In the time of twilight, you become my soldier; I , your friend, For unless all stand, all comes to an end. The shadows of our heroes are steadily lengthening, Thinning out until they disappear. The enemies of Good are readily strengthening; Never doubt; they are ever near. It is at last time for mankind to unite, From the greatest of us to the very least, Or lose our souls forever unto that long, dark night, If it be that our iron will to fight truly has ceased. On the morrow, an early dawn rises upon such a day As this seeing, knowing world has never seen or known; Violence will shake and split the earth as men fight and pray. Mighty conquerors will stand; the defeated falling like stone. Come now, we rest; and make our dreams well filled: Glorious victories o'er evil, fierce, brave allies, well met, The first battles to be won: Hope, restored; and Fear, killed. Sleep then, fair warriors: night falls fast; the even sun is set.
