CompanyA Poem by Cat
I keep finding ladybugs on the sleeves of my shirt when I'm walking outside.
They sit on my cottons and look at me with their sienna skeletons, asking why I've been so lonely. I ask them why they're here long after the Spring and Summer. I ask them to tickle my arm hairs and give me goosebumps but they flutter away. They flutter away to a bench or into the clouds and I usually don't mind. It's nice to see ladybugs on the sleeves of your shirt when you feel lonely. It's really nice even though you don't know where they came from and even if they don't keep you much company.
