Buy MeA Poem by Cat
I recall the first time I saw you,
standing there dressed in green. I always knew you had an affair with money, but never knew how you dealt with me. I remember how you used to buy every last bit of me, and how I thought it was sophisticated, sweet. You had called me classic, lying there in that King style suite. I gave myself to you without asking for a return. You tore me apart, disguised in pure gold. But that was "none of your concern." Now I understand it's how you were raised, and to you it may be right. But I'm not a prostitute, mister, I'll be around longer than a night.
