You're Better Alone

You're Better Alone

A Poem by Cat

I like my lips when they're locked with yours.
But I adore yours when they're half way open, dripping with decadence asking for more.

I like my fingers intertwined with yours.
But I ache for the feeling of yours running through my hair.

I like my eyes when they're delicately studying yours.
But yours are magnificent while they scan my skin.

My heart is best when it's full of your name.
But the pounding of yours can make me utterly insane.

And I know it's all fun and games,
but when your body is pressed against mine
and all I can taste is your smile,
I realize this will only last awhile.

~ Nicely romantic thoughts in this. Your last line is slightly vague, being a while could mean a couple of hours or a couple of days, weeks?

Knowing someone in such a way is what makes life worth living at times. I can easily put myself in his place. Nice writing Cat. ~
